MS Excel 2007 vs. 2003 (Graph compatibility)

I have a compatibility question regarding graphs on excel. Our office runs both office 2003 as well as 2007. For some reason, every time the graph title or date is edited on the 07 version and reopened on the 03 version, it disappears.

There are also a few other formatting issues we’ve come across on the graphs. I was wondering if maybe there was some special preface or setting that needed to be made that I may not be aware of? Any sort of feedback would be helpful.
