ms office 2000 pro

I am recovering from a crash. The tech I used restored my laptop to out of box state. My ms office 2000 pro disk is no good, is not recognised in the drive. I tried reinstalling from a backup disk that I have, but I get the error; install from original location. What can I do? Is there a place I can download office 2000 pro and use my product key? Or can I make this backup disk into an installation disk?
