I have a laptop with Windows XP, my problem is with Office XP Suite. It had Office 2007 trial version that expired. When I went to revert back to Office XP it asked for product key, etc. Now the problem is that I can’t open any of the suite packages without a window popping up that says “Please wait while the wizard initiates…” as if its going to ask for the product ID, but the window freezes like that and nothing else happens until I can close the window. The program (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) initiates, but it will not allow me to type or do any type of function in it. It acts like the expired version of 2007. However, this is my old Office XP program and it used to work. It’s the original copy and I have it’s product key that came with the case. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times but still have same results. Any ideas?
