MS Word 2000 Disappearing Graphics Act!

Running a copy of MS Word 2000 on Win’98.

After adding Wordart or other drawing object to a page, the Print Preview shows the page WITHOUT the Wordart or drawing objects. When you close this view down and return to Print Layout view, the objectshave disappeared from there too!

When you then add another drawing object, the others reappear, only to disappear again in Print Preview! The graphics don’t Print out either!!

It’s Magic!!! (but how can I stop the trick happening?) I have tried reinstalling the software to no avail.
