MS Word missing pages

After sending a document created in word 2007 containing 23 pages and saved as .doc for compatibility one recipient complains they can only see 5 pages and are unable to see any others. I’m not sure what version of office they’re using but will find out if necessary. No other recipients of the same doc ever complained about such an occurance. Also the document is in both English and Russian. Any idea would be very much appreciated
