MSOutlook2003 email correspondence List

Hallo Techies,
I have to send several emails during the project duration with some referencenumber which is in increasing order on every mail.
1. How to automate to get the increasing reference number in the subject field?
2. Is it possible to keep track of the emails sent with subject, date etc in some Access file automatically without updating manually?
