MSSQL Clustering

I need to cluster a 2K SQL server on WIN2K. I have looked at the Microsoft Clustering but they start adding up fast on the dollar side and add additional hardware expenses. My other options are Geocluster and Legato Cluster with Octopus. Does anyonehave any practical experience with these products? What is good and what sucks?
