Hi i have a Dell Latitude D830 that I havent used in quite some time (about 6 months) because I didnt have a power cord, now that I have one I cannot connect to the internet. The laptop worked fine before I lost the cord. Here are the specifics: I have DSL thats capable of wi-fi throughout the house. When I try to connect, it says: “Internet Explorer Cannot Display This Page”, but my taskbar and wi-fi says “connected” and the signal is green. Also I tried to ping but it says: “Can not find host”. Someone suggested doing something with the TCP/IP but when I right click on it, to look at the properties, i get a message that says: “In order to configure, you mus install and enable a network adapter card”. My other laptop works fine. Please help. Thanks
