Multiple nic addresses on a single NIC

A laptop with a single nic is used to connect to 5 separate aircraft systems. Each system has a separate IP address and only one system will ever be connected to the laptop in a single session. I know I can use 5 addresses on a single NIC (a lot more via registry modification) but I wish to choose which IP address to use without restarting the machine – any ideas?
