Our network is a wan and we have 5 locations that are connected via T1 line. We are in the process of trying to implement an antivirus automatic update (avupdate from Computer asociates) InoculateIT. in order to do this I have to have them update based upon the location becasue it would take too long to update over the T1 line. so I was going to have a 95 shared machine in the remote locations that I would put the files on and that location would update from that location. In order to do thisI think that I have to have someway of identifying the users and thier location, thus something of groups and be able to have an if clause in the login script to pick what location to update from or check. I would liek any suggestions that might head me in the right direction if this is possible or if there is another way
