I am a Network Admin. at a 120 user firm. We currently have a NT40 Domain with a Novell file server. We are in the process of upgrading to 2000 Server and Pro, and from a third party mail server to Exchange 2000. Also since I have been here (2 years) we have added a Cisco Pix firewall. With all the upgrades my manager has been very reluctant to send me to training. He did pay for a Hands on Lab for Exchange, 4 hours $49. Any comments on how others go about making managers understand the importance of training, and that everyone that gets trained is not just preparing for their next job.
