COVER LETTER

August 22, 2003

Dear Sir/Madam:

I have just explored your website and I am very impressed by your services and the way you provide them. Therefore, I got interested in working for your company as a junior network engineer or an IT manager. I am Czech and graduated from Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic (Europe) and have a master degree in System engineering and Economy.

My main point of interest is complex management of computer networks and the security of enterprise systems. I have got five years of combined experience in network administration, user support / training, and technical troubleshooting. I am used to be fully responsible for middle-sized computer networks (based on BackOffice products) and also for various IT projects such as web development, network upgrade, quality assessment projects and etc. What I consider to be my advantages are my present skills, excellent communication skills and an idea of well-done work. I will be delighted to contribute to the success of your company, by offering my knowledge and skills. For detailed information about my skills, please see the enclosed resume.

Even though I am a foreigner, I can legally work for your company as a participant of The International Practical Training Program sponsored by the InterExchange, which means that I will be a J-1 visa holder. The holder of this Visa is available to work when after the employer fills in a brief form regarding a training program. I am flexible in dates, but I can start from the beginning of December due to arrangement of the Visa takes at least two months and then I could stay up to a year.

I am looking forward to hearing from you in the near future. You can contact me either phone or email (in case of telephone call, please call me between 23 PM-1 PM PST because Prague is 10 hours ahead of your time zone). You can also have a look at my video profile.

Sincerely yours,

Ondrej Stanek
