My Documents Redirect Files Missing

My NAS failed and I am currently redirecting the My Documents folder. Offline folder works for some most users. However I have two laptop users that their my documents are empty and I cannot see why. The offline option is available and they are running SP 2

OS: Windows XP Professional SP2

Any Ideas.
