My WinXP machines cannot see LAN

Hie all
My client recently bought 5 Compaq Presario 700 with XP preinstalled. I would like to put them on the LAN I set up a few months ago.

The problem is that when I use the Network wizard, the setup goes well, but I cannot see other PCs in the workgroup. I cannot see the XP machines from the other machines (Win95 and 98). The XP machines keep on trying to go on the internet when I click the View Workgroup link.

How can do it? Please help
