Name Resolution

What is the right sequence from 1 to 7 where the pc is lookin first for the name resolution

Hosts file, lmhosts file, DNS, WINS, NetBiosname broadcast, DNS client resolver cach, MetBios name cache (use NodeType 8)

Can someone tell me what the right sequence is?
