National IT security audit system

Is there any IT security audit system at the national level responsible for auditing government owned IT infrastructures for security purposes.The team might also responsible for generating national IT security audit reports which might help different organizations to check for their system vulnurabilities.The security audit system team role is not specific to a given system but integrated systems like e-government systems.I like to read explanation on this matter.Thank You.
