I’m a PC tech for a medium sized non-profit agency. I do all the PC repairs and troubleshooting, etc. I also kind of fell into training end users in a variety of subjects (Windows 95, the internet, etc.) , and also set up 2 user groups.
Ifound that I’m much more interested in training than troubleshooting. I really like to teach but there’s no money in the budget or a future for me at my current job to teach and or train in various subjects.
I guess my question or need for advice is what options are available for training trainers. Do I focus on the MOUS? Do I need to get any certifications? And if there are certifications what are available? What’s the job market for trainers like? I really don’t want to be locked into teaching a subject that might not exist in the future. Any advice would be appreciated!
