Need help

I have been doing Tech Support for about 18 or so years. Most of it was unpaid or as a sideline until about six years ago. Then, for personal reasons, two years ago I had to stop working full-time and start doing consulting again. Now I’m looking toget back into a full-time market and am being passed over. I send out between five and twenty resumes a week with very little response at all. I just recently got my A+ cert hoping that would help but am still hearing nothing back. I would be glad to share my resume with anyone who thinks they can help. Thanks in advance for any advice given.
