Network card drivers

My network card stopped working suddenly. I have tried changing the PCI port and updating drivers, still it shows error code 10 in Windows XP Pro device manager. I was also getting an error with PCI bridge host CPU and a yellow bang on that device. Due to this issue, I have reinstalled WinXP, still the problem persists. The issue with PCI host CPU bridge has gone now, however the issue with network card still remains. I had tried both automatic search for drivers as well as manual installtion, none works. Any ideas?
