Network printer default setting keeps resetting

I have a laptop that logon to a domain. I have two printer that is located in two office. When I’m at a different location I would change the default printer to the local printer there. If I reboot the machine the default printer changes back to the previous default printer from the other location. Is there a fix for this? Please help.
