Network printer properties does not show

Hi all.

Issue is following: connect to printserver (2k3 sp2) try to open printer properties, but the dialog box will not appear (once I was really patient and I have waited for 20 min). users can print on printer from SAP but from anywhere else they get cannot find printer (printer is shared and listed in AD).
Cannot change driver of printer either.

Does anybody have any ideas?
