network printing

i have a HP dn 8100 printer connected to a Windows NT server through a jet direct.The clients computers run windows 98, nt worksatation and windows 2000 .The problem is the advance setting of the printer which allow you to print on both sides, staple print jobs ……keep disappearing after a while.on the client computers .What could this be since i have updated the drivers on the server with no success..
