Network Printing and Logon Scripts

I would like to find a way to install network printers on workstations by not going locally to connect the printers. Is it possible to be done by using a logon script !? I have already tried using net use lpt1: \\servename\printersharename , but it has not worked. I have a mixed WinNT\2000 domain.
