ya, i don’t even know if this thread is in the right section, but if it’s not, i’m sure someone will move it and i will know better next time.
i’m having a problem setting up my home network.
before, i had the network setup like this
internet, then router which goes to 1 computer and a hub that goes to another 5 computers
what i’m trying to do, but not having much luck is
internet, then firewalled computer/game server to a hub, then to all other computers in the house
the computer i’m using as the firewall is an AMD Duron 700mhz running WinXPPro and zonealarm
there are 2 network cards in the comp, both are identical 10/100 cards. not sure what to do anymore. it does get the internet though. i wouldn’t be posting if it didn’t. but none of the other computers can see this one, nor can they access the internet either
any suggestions or corrections would be appreciated
