Network slowdowns and Timeouts

I have a current issue where I am having network slowsdowns and constant timeouts. Where I work at I am part of one network, while there is another network which we are part of. The network which we are a part of is on the 6th floor and they are notexperiencing any type of network slowdowns or any other major timeouts and the network that I am a part of is on the 7th floor is getting the issues. Both networks are sharing the same server and sharing one NIC. If anyone has any answers to which Ican resolve this constant problem which won’t go away, I will be very thankful.
