Networking Win2K Pro and XP Home

I have been trying to network my home systems for quite a while now and I think I need a fresh set of eyes. I think I need the set up steps to peer-to-peer a Windows 2000 Pro laptop with a Windows XP Home. If you need anymore information just let me know. Thank you for all of your help in advance!
