New Career

I am currently in the process of changing careers. I have always been interested in networking and decided to take Global Knowledge’s courses to recieve a CCNA certification. My question is..what can I expect when looking for a new job(I should mention I have no prior work experience in this field). I want to be realistic and I have no idea how I will be viewed as a newcomer. I am also wondering about the different paths I can take with a CCNA.
I realize these are very general questions,
but any direction would be helpful. Thanks
