I keep getting burned by poor coordination amongst the various groups involved with bringing on a new facility. I’m not bashing anyone in particular, but I’m looking for a Technical Infrastructure Implementation Template?? Something that at least bullets the various groups needs and requirements, ie. Network has a set of requirements, a Telecom room near the Telco D-marc, etc.; Systems similarly, is there sufficient power for a small server rack in a suitable location; Telecom, will we utilize existing telephone voicemail systems, etc. Just wondering if anyone has such a template or checklist that they go over with a business partner or client when bringing up a new site, that touches on multiple technology issues.
