New Network Setup

Hi All,

can any body suggest workstations for VLSI designing with minimum of 2 gb ram,dual core processor and should support redhatws 4 or later?

and i am also looking for how to setup a vpn for our company and there security constarints.

the problem is we have a hetrogeneous network with windows and linux machines.

Please can any body through some light on this.
