new pc config – help me

I am going to upgrade my old PC and the configuration of the new pc will be
Intel E7200 (or E7300) Processor
Intel DG 31 PR Mo bo (Should work with my existing CRT Monitor and one IDE HDD & one IDE

DVD-Writer. Will it work ?)
Transcend 2GB DDR2 RAM
250GB Seagate SATA HDD
Logitech(?) Keyboard & Optical Mouse
APC 500VA UPS with serial connectivity to the PC
Zebronics Cabinet
Coolermaster SMPS

Suggest me required changes, if any. I will use the existing CRT monitor, DVD-Writer and

External ADSL Modem with the new PC as well.

I have old HDD with Win 98 SE installed on it. Can I use this HDD on my new pc with

intel GD 31 PR mother board with C2Duo 2.66 GHz processor ? (I am upgrading my pc this

weekend)
