New to Linux

I’m a Windows guy by trade, but I am wanting to learn Linux, I have bought some books however none as of yet seem any good. Could someone point me in the right direction? I’m not a newbie to computers, just to Linux. I hope to learn Linux good enough to enter into the security realm of it. Any names of books or online classes or whatever would be helpfull. Thank you in advance
