Norton Systemworks and Linux

I have a DualBoot Windows XP Pro that I added
Red Hat 8 too.
My Norton Antivirus License is running out so I purchased Systemworks.
One of the Modules is Get Back.
This caused Linux to stop working as if I did not have enough Memory.
Disabling Get Back took over an hour.
Now everything is OK again!
Anybody had similar experiences?
