Not receiving email that is part of distribution list

Ok..This is really annoying, and there isnt much to help out. I have noticed that some users are not receiving emails when it is sent out from a distribtuion list…but the list has been “opened” meaning, the real email addresses and names are shown, instead of the real name of the distribution list. (hit the plus sign). We use exchange 2007.
