Novell Network Glitch

I am constantly encountering a problem in Novell 5.1x. After the user logs in they cannot access anything IP driven. They loose their IP. I have to go into winipcfg and release all and renew all. This error is sort of a phantom error. In that it does not occurr all the time. I need Help!
