NT 4.0 and Two Rascal Machines

I have two NT 4.0 servers…on eof which I can’t access from two specific computers in the network. One is running Win 2000 Pro, the other Win ME. I have another two other machines that access it that are running ME with no problems. The server in questions is configured as a stand alone, and acts as a file server. All machines on my netework are connected via 100mps switches that are cascaded. One machine is on the last switch and one is on the middle switch. I use wins (Each server is a wins server) I also use static tcp/ip addressing. Subnets match, and DNS is a backup name resolutin. Any ideas?
