NT Fails to detect my hard drives.

I am trying to install NT workstation on a Win98 machine and NT does not detect my 2 hard drives. I used Partition Magic 5 to create a FAT16 partition for NT and put it on the front of the hard drive. I would really like to get NT installed ASAP. IfI need another driver for my hard drives, where do I get it?
