NT Security carry over to Windows 2000?

I am considering taking a two-day crash course entitled, “The Secrets to Effective Windows NT Security”, by CompuMaster. Although we presently run Windows NT4 Server, we plan to migrate to Windows 2000 Server. Will the lessons I learn be applicable to Windows 2000 security? TIA
