NT4 PDC adding WIN2k BDC

I have a school system with a NT4 PDC at the High School and PDCs at 3 elementary schools. Two more schools are coming online in Jan. I was asked if these schools could have WIN2K server O/S and participate in the Domain, much like the BDCs at theother schools. Has anyone attempted anything like this? Can it be done?
