Hello!
Could you help me if possible?
I have a problem with the NTFS Permissions in some Folders in Wndows 2003 SP2.
I’m going to show you 3 situations:
– I have a Share Folder called PaperMill in this Folder I put the Share Permission with Everyone-Full Control and I created one Main Folder called PaperMachine inside PaperMill Folder.
1 – If I allow a group G_PaperMachine as “modify”this group can delete this Main Folder (PaperMachine);
2 – If I deny this group (G_PaperMachine) to delete by choosing the option “this folder only” the group cant delete the Main Folder (PaperMachine) but if they try to, they delete all the Main Folder contents;
3 – If I deny this group (G_PaperMachine) to delete by choosing the option “this folder,subfolder and files” the group cant modify or delete any of the Main Folder contents.
How Can I procedure to allow a group to create, modify,etc subfolders and files inside a Main Folder (PaperMachine), but deny this group to delete the Main Folder and its contents?
Thank You!!
Evaldo
