Nvidia card troubles….

I have a Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 256 mb ddr card

I once put a post on how my monitor screen would never show up after the windows logo on boot-up but after many days of searching and looking for faulty hardware/software that may have messed it up I eventually reached my video card.

I uninstalled my video card’s drivers and my computer started to work fine but because it was using windows default driver I can’t really do anything. I have attempted downloading all drivers from Nvidia and my computer starts to mess up after every single one of them.
I’m out of ideas and I don’t know what to do can anyone help me please?
