Office 2000 & Excel 5

Is there a utility that would allow Excel 5 to open spreadsheets created by Excel 2000? I do not have the option of SAVE AS to the lower version, because the files are coming from an outside source.

Even a conversion utility program that could be ran on the file would be fine.
