office 207 home student reactavtion

Recently had to do a 2nd complet reinstall of laptop from restore disk.
Purchesed offiice 2007 home student product key from ms online store aprox. 18 mon. ago.
Product key verified by ms actavtion dept. as good, but will not activate over internet or phone.Need help in getting this corected without massave registry hacks and backups.
Did not install 60 day trial, launched actiavtion wizard put in product key, key accepted, installed full version home student, product through online means, ok.Relaunch office, window opens saying I need too actiavte.Pick online option, says cant validate install, try by phone fails again, talk too rep. they cant find issue.
