Online Course Creation

Greetings!

I am teaching in a university and I am thinking of a possibility of exposing my students to the world of online courses. I am planning to propose holding a class online. I will just meet my class on the first meeting, orient them of the requirements and then that’s it — all lessons and discussions, including the tests will be done online. All communications will be via email.

Do you have some suggestions on how to effectively do this?

I am also anticipating some objectionsfrom my immediate superior. Any valid argument to support my proposal?
