Opening a document in MS Access through Hyperlink

Hi there,
I build a database in MS Access 2003. One of my tables has a field where I store network locations as hyperlinks. In my computer it works smoothly: I click on the hyperlink and my .pdf document is swiftly retrieved.

However, a problem arises when other users try to do the same task. An acrobat reader window opens for fractions of a second and then aumotically closes.

Changing their macros security to “low” doesn’t resolve the problem. I created a new hyperlink from one of their computers and the same thing happens. I also updated their Adobe Acrobat versions without success.

We’re all using Windows XP.
Any ideas??
