OpenSSL

I am a beginner in OpenSSL in C, Linux. I have
downloaded the example
codes from Eric Rescorla. But they are not running using
gcc. Can
anybody please give me the proper syntax to run the
client and the
server?

In my system, it is giving some errors like undefines
“err_exit” and
undefined “initialixation_ctx”

any help is appreciated.
