Optiplex GX260

I have a GX260 that’s becoming a pain. I installed a new HD on it (OS W2K) and this thing will not recognize primary nor secondary IDE’s. I press F1 to continue and it boots fine but will not recognize the CD/DVD Rom. I have the HD as CS and the DVD as Master; all DIAG lights are green. Any ideas?? I’ve downloaded and installed all of the recommended drives from dell.com. Thanks for your help.
