Oracle9i on Solaris 8 on intel

I am trying to install Oracle9i on Solaris 8 10/00 on intel machine.
When I run the ./runInstaller script I get the following error :
./runInstaller: syntax error at line 1: ‘1’ unexpected

Is it really possible to install oracle9i on INTEL solaris?????
Please guide me.
