Outlook 2000

My users with laptops are being dropped by our exchange server. Sometimes it reconnects, sometime not. I have increased the timeout from 60 secs to 120 and am still having problems. Is there a another setting to can be changed so that there is a constant connection. This is happening in the office as well as from home offices with broadband. Any ideals?
