Outlook 2003 Calendar share, user still receiving invitations that shouldnt

We are using Outlook 2003, one of our users is complaining that they are receiving someone elses calendar notifications, even thou that user has removed her from having permissions to his calendar.

Neither people have given each other permission to each others calendar.

Has anyone else experienced this?
