Outlook 2003. When I use “Find”…..

When I search using “Find”, in either my inbox or sent box, after the search, the fields in my inbox or sent box change. For example, I will do a “Find” in my inbox, and when I close the search results, my “From” field will have been replaced with a “To” field. Or, I will do a “Find” in my sent box, and when I close the search results, my “To” field will have been replaced with a “From” field. I can’t figure this out. Please help.
